The service was great and the food was awesome. This place has a nice view of the lake too.

Awesome service first but then the fresh flavorful food comes. I was impressed both times so far. Manager interaction is common practice here. They inspect what they expect and that is lacking at so many restaurants in our area. Make the short trip to Lake Hefner and enjoy a great experience. Seriously.

Service is usually very good. The food is always delicious! Love the green habanero salsa. Temperature of the restaurant is sometimes too cold or too hot.

Great portions and well prepared food. The habanero salsa had a nice kick. Queso is nothing special but is included with the chips and salsa, which is a nice touch. Excellent service and atmosphere with a nice view of Lake Hefner

Reminiscent of a cantina in a Menican resort. We had steak fajitas. They were great. They start you off with chips, salsa, and a cheese sauce. Tortillas if you wish. Our server Alex was very attentive and Helpful. He brought me out hotter salsa. It was really good. We loved the homemade tortillas. They bring you sopipilla and ice cream on your birthday. Being on Lake Hefner makes it a beautiful location.

This place is pretty cool. If you can get a table with a view of the lake that really enhances the experience. The view of the lake is very beautiful, almost makes you forget your in Oklahoma for a minute. Ha. Service is good. We had a fantastic server last time I was there. Clean. Food was very good. Always good food and specialty drinks. Fun and picturesque place for one table or a corporate dinner like I went to tonight. Waiter was fast and efficient and our buffet of mixed fajitas was great. Went out and watched the sunset and boats on the lake from the patio afterward.

Wonderful! All the staff, from hostess to bus staff, are gracious and obviously happy to be there. The service is professional, friendly, knowledgeable, FAST, and attentive. The manager, a most congenial host, came to our table to answer my questions and make recommendations, as I'm hardcore vegan. Next week, they will offer Impossible foods menu items! The ambience is cheerful and serene. Two seating options: bright lake front, full-wall windows upon Lake Hefner's splendor, or romantic low-key intimacy. The food is absolutely delicious! My favorite salsas were offered and were so delicious I took everything home for later. I'm looking forward to next week to sample the new vegan options. Tremendous!

Food was delicious. Ambiance was amazing too. Good place for a fun evening dinner. It's casually loud so you can have fun conversations and laughter without disturbing anyone. Special mention for our waiter Maria. My friends had a lot of restrictions on what they could eat. She took time to check all the ingredients and helped us out.

Great view of Lake Hafner. Stopped by for Sunday brunch and wasnt disappointed. The wait was about 15 minutes for a patio seat. They only do reservations through Yelp which seems very outdated. Maybe they should look into Open Table.The ambiance shows off the culture well. The plating is nice and service was good. Even the front end manager swung by our table to check on our meals. With good food choices and a solid Mexican experience, I would recommend a stop by this location in OKC.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in the metro. They have a great happy hour every M-F till 6, great drink and food specials. And the view cannot be beat! On nice days you can watch the sunset over the water. So wonderful!

Can't say enough about Mama Roja! The food is fantastic and the service never disappoints. Easily one of the best dining experiences in Oklahoma City. The patio is also great!

I absolutely love mama roja black beans!! These are seasoned just perfectly! Never had black beans that tasted so good!

Hostess and server were welcoming and attentive. Margaritas were too sweet. They always keep your table with chips, red and queso sauce. It has beautiful views of the lake and warehouse. We didn’t try the food just the fresh guacamole.

I'd like to lead with a great, big shout-out to Jason our waiter! He was amazing and engaging. Neither myself or my constituents had ever been here as we're blown away by his knowledge of the menu for suggestions and professionalism. We opted for the chicken fajitas and the food was great too! It was flavorful and was almost too pretty to eat by looking at it! We stopped a guy that appeared to be a manager to verbally note the exceptional customer service and our satisfaction of Jason's service. We'd recommend going to this restaurant to anyone looking for great food with a smile!

The wife and I had Sunday fun day with a picture of Horseshoe tequila margaritas! By far the best view from any Mexican restaurant in Oklahoma. I ate the fish tacos with a coleslaw mango dressing, yum. So if you want great drink food environment and view you know what to do!

FANTASTIC SERVICE!!! Staff was exceptional especially our waiter. Food was pretty good I got the chili relleno and the flavor of the pepper itself was good but as you can see from the pictures there was ALOT of breading too much for me personally. Seemed like that overtook the flavor of anything else. I prefer more stuffing per say. Cheese chicken etc. Also I would note it's only available in chicken and since they are pee made no variations or substitutions can be made.

We like this restaurant for the environment especially in the spring and summer. The outdoor seating has good views of the lake and sunsets. The food is good and they have great margaritas. We miss the outdoor bar. Hopefully one day they bring it back. It was a great place for summertime cocktails.

Went for lunch. Very cozy atmosphere. Wonderful scenery. Staff was very professional and nice. The dips were fantastic. Our steak tacos were dry and overcooked. Must be leftovers from last night. But we were given a coupon for our next visit. We plan to come for dinner one-day to see if the kitchen will do us right.

Great food, atmosphere and $5 Happy Hour Margharitas from 4-6 pm during the weekdays. It's always nice to sit out by Lake Hefner if the weather is nice. The wait staff here is great too!

Mama Rojas is always amazing. We go here at least twice a month. You can’t beat the lake view, the house margarita on ice is one of the best, the chips are heated, and the flavors of every dish we’ve tried are rich. From the hostess to the waitress or waiter, to the manager, there is a well rounded quality and consistent customer service.

This is one of the best restaurants on the lake. The nearby Hefner Grill is also very good. You generally have to wait to be seated, especially during peak hours, but I’ve never been disappointed with the quality of food.

My family and I moved to OKC a year ago, we have been here a dozen times so far. I can definitively say it is not just by chance one has a good experience here. The management is doing a great job conveying to staff their expectations. The proof is in the pudding as I have never had a less than amazing waiting staff. Tonight are waiter was Patrick who seemed to also be working the bar. The man was great as I can only imagine all the waiters there are, from past experiences!! Great family or night time place. My favorite dessert is cheesecake burrito 😌🤩. Hands Down one of my go-to place so far in OKC # America

The location is beautiful but the food never seems fresh... a lot like a Chilies or something. Goodish margaritas and service seems well trained. Anything extra is an up charge and that’s annoying... $1 for sour cream, extra $$ for jalapeños, ext... like really? It’s a Mexican food place. But drinks on the patio isn’t that bad.
